Chorefto
Chorefto is a settlement of the prefecture of Magnesia and seaport of Zagora on the east side of the peninsula . Residents of about 20. It is linked to Volos with 2 streets through Chania 53 km and through Tsagarada about 85 km . In the period mid-July to mid-August there tourists. It offers spacious and extensive beaches , dentroskepasti and paved square , hotels , restaurants , bars and sensational two churches.

George Drosinis - the statue in the main square - married Mary Cassavetes and lived for many years in the early 20th century in Chorefto where he wrote many of his works. He baptized Horefto "School of the sea".
Sights are the frescoes in the old church of St. Nicholas, the ancient Ipnoi (Caves) where wrecked most of the fleet of Xerxes in 480 BC (North by boat) and the sunrise from inside the Aegean Sea. The village celebrates on August 29th , Saint John the Baptist. Chorefto is characterized as a traditional settlement and year after year upgraded due to tourist traffic seen during the summer months.
